Jesus, as Head of the Church (EPHESIANS 1:22,23) could have begun the Christian Era on the Anniversary of His birth, His death, or His resurrection - but instead He chose to begin it on the Feast of Pentecost, which 20 years later the Apostle Paul rushed to be back in Jerusalem to observe (ACTS 20:16).

It’s no Historical secret that the teachings of the Original Church about Repentance, Baptism, Salvation, Death and Resurrections were modified by men in later decades and centuries - which is why Jude, the brother of Jesus was inspired to write: “…I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the Faith which was once for all delivered to the Saints.” JUDE 3
